Rules

The rules for the 1st World Gliding Championship - Club Class will follow the Sporting Code Annex A rules apart from the changes noted in the Local Regulations.

1. ORGANISER:: The Organiser of these Championships is the Gliding Federation of Australia. The competition will be run in conjuction with the 1st International Soaring Grand Prix.
2. LOCATION:: Gawler Airfield, Gawler, South Australia.
3 DATES:

Preliminary entries due: 30th June 2000

Final entries due (7.1): 7 th September 2000

Reserve pilots may be accepted after (7.3.3): 7 th September 2000

Deadline for approval of new GNSS FRs: 30 th November 2000

Registration : Sun 7 th -Thu 11 th January 2001

Official training (3.4): Mon 8 th -Sat 13 th January 2001

First Team Captain Briefing: Wed 10 th Jan, 1:00pm

Configuration change closes (10.3): Thu 11 th Jan, 4:00pm

Opening Ceremony: Thu 11 th Jan, 6:00pm

Contest flying (3.3): Sun 14 th - Fri 26 th Jan

Farewell party: Fri 26 th Jan, 7:00pm

Closing Ceremony and Prizegiving: Sat 27 th Jan 10:30am
